Did you know the combined area of the UK's gardens is greater than that of all our National Nature Reserves? During this time of climate change and biodiversity decline our gardens and outdoor spaces, however small, can provide a haven for nature, creating wildlife corridors that allow species to move about and thrive.
Whether it’s encouraging nature into our gardens or growing more of our own fresh and tasty food, our outdoor, and even indoor spaces, provide us with an opportunity to make a positive difference to our health and wellbeing as well as to the health of the planet.
Garden Wilder was created to make it easier to find the best planet-friendly garden products in one place, including a large range of plastic-free, natural, biodegradable, organic, sustainably and ethically sourced products.
A bit more about our products:
- We sell 100% peat-free products.
- We sell 100% natural, non-toxic, pest and disease control products.
- We prioritise products made with plastic-free, natural and biodegradable materials, especially those that are ethically and sustainably sourced.
- Most of our products don’t contain virgin plastic or even recycled plastic. We select products made with these materials only in the absence of biodegradable alternatives.
- We seek out products that are certified by ethical and environmental organisations.
- We like to source zero-waste products, made from byproducts or materials that would otherwise go to waste.
Packaging:
Retail Packaging:
Most of our products’ retail packaging is plastic-free, and we seek out products that wherever possible don’t have plastic in their retail packaging.
Our Packaging:
All our packaging, fill and tape is plastic-free, recyclable and biodegradable. We use FSC-certified or recycled cardboard boxes. For our fill, we use recycled paper and shredded cardboard. Our tape is always made of paper, most often with a natural gummed adhesive.
