Corten steel or ‘weathering steel’ is the same steel used in high-end exterior architecture. Over time a gorgeous patina emerges, giving an additional layer of protection by sealing and preserving the steel. As a result, they last for decades, with a patina that changes with the seasons, getting darker over the years.

Each bird is made and shipped locally. They are made using 70% recycled content and all Metalbird’s scrap steel is recycled.

The packaging is made from recycled cardboard with biodegradable inks.
