Hedgehog numbers are in decline, partly because many gardens lack wild corners, hedgerows and natural corridors to move around. These lovable creatures need to be able to roam from garden to garden in order to look for food, safe shelter or mates during the breeding season, often travelling great distances, sometimes several kilometers each night! As fences replace hedges, this has become even more difficult. However, a hedgehog highway gate can work wonders, also making them safer from road traffic or being trapped by fences.

How to use:

Simply fit the gate at the base of your fence with screws, through pre-drilled holes. Suitable for both wooden fences (attach with screws) and metal fencing (secure with cable ties).
