Natural Rubber Bands (Ball)

This ball contains 180 fair trade pure natural rubber bands in red, green, yellow and blue. Handy for a wide variety of gardening tasks. Great for bunching together multi-sown vegetables or securing opened packets of seed.

The natural rubber is both FSC 100%-certified and Fair Rubber Association-certified making it both ethical and sustainable. It’s sourced from farmers on plantations in Sri Lanka that are certified not to have replaced old forest, and the rubber is grown and produced sustainably without the use of chemicals. The primary producers are paid a fair-trade premium to ensure the continued improvement of their working and living conditions.

Many rubber plantations are threatened with conversion to palm oil or beef production so when you buy this rubber you ensure the survival of an important, natural resource.
