Organic Coir Seed Compost Brick
Organic Coir Seed Compost Brick
These Soil Association-certified organic coir bricks are similar in size to a house brick yet expand to 9 litres of coir when hydrated. The perfect amount for creating batches of compost for seed sowing and cuttings, without having to worry about partly used bags of compost taking up space.
Coir is pleasant to handle and ideal for seedlings and cuttings as it retains moisture while still allowing for proper drainage. This prevents both waterlogging and seed rot. Its neutral pH is beneficial for germination, too.
It can also be used as a base for homemade compost or added to garden waste compost for improved aeration.
