Peat-Free Organic Coir Compost Brick (75L)

This peat-free, organic, coir compost brick is made without added nutrients allowing you to be flexible with the type of fertiliser you’d like to add or not add, or if you wish to create your own compost blends.

Comes as a large brick which expands to 75L of compost when hydrated. Lightweight, compact and easy to store. No lifting heavy bags of compost again! Doesn't degrade until water is added.

Excellent aeration, drainage and moisture retention as well as pH balanced, ensuring strong roots and healthy plant growth. Versatile for a wide range of gardening uses and can also be used as a reptile vivarium substrate or pet bedding.

Sciarid flies cannot survive the processing of coir compost bricks therefore these pests will not be introduced to your home by this compost. They are also naturally repelled by the oil in coco fibres.

How to use:

• Place your coir brick into a wheelbarrow or other large container.
• Add 20-25L of water, preferably warm.
• Let it sit until the water is absorbed. Approximately 20 minutes will do – perfect for a cup of tea.
• Fluff up your compost with a hand trowel/fork or with your hands until all the clumps are broken up.
