These Soil Association-certified organic, peat-free and plastic-free coir chip husk mulch bricks are similar in size to a house brick yet expand to roughly 5 litres of coir when hydrated. Perfect for use as a mulch around plants.
Coir chip husk is ideal as a mulch as it retains moisture while still allowing for proper drainage, weed suppression and soil temperature regulation. Its neutral pH is beneficial for most plants.
Comes wrapped in thick paper packaging making it a plastic-free and zero-waste solution to mulch in plastic bags.

How to use:
- Get a large bucket, trug or watertight wheelbarrow and place your coir mulch brick inside.
- Add 3 litres of water, preferably warm, to the brick.
- Leave to stand for 24 hours.
- Break up the coir material with a hand fork or by hand.
