Solitary Bee Nest Box

This solitary bee nest box provides an ideal place for red mason bees and other solitary bees, such as leaf cutter bees, to lay their eggs.

Solitary bees are beneficial insects, helping to pollinate the flowers of many plants including our fruit and vegetables. With a decline in natural habitats our gardens are more important than ever for insects.

Each tube is made of card and can be removed and replaced.

How to use:

Site in a sunny, south- to southeast- facing position to catch the morning sun. Place the bee nest box somewhere between ground level and 1.5 m in height. No chemical treatments are needed on the nest box.
