An essential tool for seed sowing, this round, wooden pot tamper is crafted from sustainably sourced oak and comes in an oiled finish. The shape of the tamper allows you to press down compost in round plant pots of all sizes down to 7 cm in diameter.

How to use:

Simply fill the pot with compost. To reduce large air gaps, lift it just high enough off the surface and release it. Next, gently press the compost with the tamper to create an even surface with reduced air gaps. As a result, when you water the soil, it won’t settle unevenly. A nice even surface gives your seeds the best chance of germination.
